With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I thought I'd talk about puppy love. Not the infatuation and angst that exists between teens, but the very real affection felt between pets and humans.
One of the best things about housesitting is spending time with and getting to know the homeowners' pets. With zero effort on their part these amazing creatures always manage to whittle a way into our hearts and we're sad when it's time to say goodbye.
This past week I chatted with our North Bay homeowners, and I'm thrilled to announce we'll be taking care of Keegan again in April. We can't wait to see the little guy, and we're certain he'll have a few more adventures up his sleeve...um, I mean, leg.
Meanwhile, Heather, our Havelock homeowner, forwarded a glowing testimonial that is now proudly on display at our TLC website. Thank you, Heather, and say hello to Holly and Maya for us.
This weekend we're excited to do a last minute local housesit. It comes at the best possible time as we're both having serious housesitting withdrawal symptoms! We're looking forward to spending time with Crimper while his humans attend a family function.
Btw, John took the photo of Crystal Lake (above) today as he snowshoed atop the latest layer of fluffy snow to grace the area.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours, and especially our wonderful four-legged friends.
Woof!
