We're back in North Bay, house and pet sitting, and today was our first full day alone with Keegan. What's wonderful about returning for a second housesitting engagement is we already know the routine, the homeowners are good friends (thanks again D&C for the great dinner and conversation prior to your departure), AND Keegan greeted us upon our arrival with such exuberance that we're pretty certain he remembered us.
Today the temperature soared to 7C and while one person (above) walked their dog across the ice on Trout Lake, we opted to take full advantage of the sunshine and sit on the deck. We were there for more than an hour, and better still, we did it sans boots, coats and mitts. Whohoo!
John and Keegan, of course, had to play a game. This is their version of Catch Me...(My apologies for not being able to download it to this post. Sometimes technology refuses to humor me....)
Afterward, Keegan insisted John stop for a few minutes to pet him.
Then, we commandeered the outdoor furniture to soak up a few rays. Ah, bliss!
If you've ever thought house and pet sitting might be for you, we highly recommend it.
Until next time, enjoy the springtime!
