We've just returned from a whirlwind visit to southern Ontario. First stop was St. Marys, aka The Stonetown. We lived here for fifteen years (1980-1995), yet never get tired of the incredible architecture and gorgeous homes.
We visited good friends, shared lots of laughs, great conversations, delicious food, and wine.
Life. Is. Good!
Returning north we stopped in Muskoka, Ontario's cottage country, to stay with friends at their rental cottage for a few days. The property was spacious and picturesque with every amenity required.
The scenery was spectacular...
And on our final day at the lake the guys caught two large mouth bass. Trust me. There's nothing better that a meal of fresh fish fillets fried in butter!
A week spent with close friends in an amazing setting....
What could be possibly be more relaxing that a comfy Adirondack chair overlooking a pristine lake while hearing the haunting call of a loon?

John's only regret? That he had to leave his kayak at home. Our next outing, I'm sure, there will be no regrets!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU (you know who you are) for making our week so great and memorable. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again. :)
