Summer 2020 in the North

Towards the middle of June, Covid19 lockdown and travel restrictions began to ease somewhat across Ontario and so we packed up the van and returned to Elliot Lake on June 24th.

Spring 2020 Has Sprung in Ottawa

It boggles the mind (well, at least it boggles mine) that another month of staying at home, social distancing, obsessive hand washing and donning face masks to go to the grocery store have passed since my last blog post.

5-Day Housesit With Our REAL Grand-Fur Babies!

Of the many housesits we’ve completed during the past ten years the one we just completed today is extra special for a number of reasons. One Year to the Next: Dec 2019 -Jan 2020 Recap

I certainly did not expect almost two full months to pass between blog posts, but that's exactly what's happened. On one hand, I feel slightly guilty for being so lax, but on the other hand I've totally enjoyed the lull and the opportunity to relax with my beloved knitting and crochet projects. That's not all we've been up to, of course, and it's been an a pretty good winter to date. Here's the recap...
